You will join as a People & Culture Manager leading the people agenda within the hotel, partnering with the General Manager and senior team to build a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end People & Culture function, ensuring a high-performing, values-led and compliant operation
• Partner with the General Manager and senior leaders to deliver people strategy aligned to business goals
• Oversee all core People processes including recruitment, onboarding, systems, payroll input, and reporting
• Drive talent acquisition activity, ensuring strong pipelines and excellent candidate experience
• Own the employee lifecycle, embedding engagement, communication, and wellbeing initiatives
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, leading investigations and ensuring compliant outcomes
• Deliver and support learning and development initiatives, including inductions and leadership capability
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all People activity
• Use People data and insights to inform decision-making and improve performance and retention
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and all relevant policies and regulations
Person Specification
• Significant generalist HR experience, ideally within hospitality or a service-led environment
• CIPD qualified or equivalent with strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Proven experience across recruitment, employee relations, and engagement
• Commercially aware with the ability to align people strategy to business performance
• Confident using HR systems and data to drive insight
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to coach stakeholders
• Experience managing ER cases, investigations, and compliance
• Passionate about creating inclusive and high-performing cultures
• Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Positive, approachable, and solutions-focused
